An Automix copilot helps a person do their job faster — it does not take the job over.
In Wavy, the copilot pattern is concrete: AI suggests replies based on conversation context, generates summaries so agents can catch up on long threads, and provides translation for multilingual engagement. A human team member reviews, edits if needed, and sends. The AI does not send messages on its own.
This pattern extends to the planned roster. Lekha will draft copy that a human editor refines. Khoji will surface keyword opportunities that a strategist evaluates. Jeet will draft outreach that a salesperson approves. In each case, the copilot reduces friction without removing judgment — especially for consequential actions like campaigns, payments, and professional-domain outputs.

What is the difference between an AI copilot and an AI agent?
At Automix, the terms overlap. Each agent in the roster is designed to act as a copilot for a specific role — it assists a human rather than operating autonomously. We use 'agent' for the specialist workspace and 'copilot' for the assistance pattern: the agent provides the workspace, the copilot behaviour is how AI assists within it.
Does the copilot act on its own?
No. Copilots suggest, draft, and surface insights. A human reviews and approves consequential actions — sending messages, launching campaigns, processing payments, or producing professional outputs. This is a design principle across the roster and a tested guardrail in Wavy where implemented.
Which copilot can I use today?
Wavy is the only copilot currently available. It assists with WhatsApp customer engagement: suggested replies, conversation summaries, translation, and campaign management. It requires your own WhatsApp and optional AI provider configuration.
What happens if I don't configure an AI provider?
The workspace continues to function without AI assistance. Copilot features — suggested replies, summaries, translation — are shown as unavailable rather than failing silently. This is deliberate: unconfigured and error states are treated as different from working states.
Are copilots available for roles beyond customer engagement?
Not yet. Copilots for copywriting, SEO, sales, email marketing, data analysis, coaching, and other roles are planned and in development. Their preview pages describe intended roles and capabilities — not live features. Each will ship only after its own validation gates pass.
