Frequently asked
What problem does Wavy solve and what do I need to provide?+
Wavy is the WhatsApp customer-engagement specialist for teams that want every message to lead somewhere useful. If your team juggles chat replies, campaign sends, payment collection, and CRM updates across disconnected tools, Wavy brings them into one workspace. You provide a connected WhatsApp number via Cloud API or QR pairing (configuration required), brand tone guidelines, contact lists with recorded opt-in, approved message templates, automation rules, and payment gateway configuration if you want to prepare payment collection. In return you get a shared inbox with assignment and tags, AI-drafted replies for human review, campaign templates with delivery, read, reply, and failure status when a channel is connected, and organized contact context. Live sending, payment processing, and CRM sync are planned or deferred and depend on completed backend and provider configuration.
How does review work and what are the current limitations?+
Human approval is required for campaign launch. AI-drafted replies can be reviewed before sending. Automation rules can be configured to require approval for consequential actions. Wavy depends on a connected WhatsApp Cloud API or QR pairing and a configured payment gateway to function. WhatsApp enforces its own service-window and template rules; Wavy respects opt-in and opt-out suppression but does not independently enforce WhatsApp's policies on your behalf. Campaign sending uses approved templates when a channel is connected; replies in open conversations are not template-restricted. Backend-dependent features such as live campaign sending, payment processing, and CRM sync are planned or configuration-required and not yet production-ready. Bot connector endpoints exist as configurable routes, but automated bot handoff is not yet production-ready and requires its own scope and security review.
Is Wavy available and how is privacy handled?+
Wavy is available now. It requires a connected WhatsApp channel and configured payment gateway before live sending or payment collection. Contact data is organized within your workspace; you are responsible for maintaining opt-in records and honoring opt-out requests. Sending relies on your configured channel and workspace rules; automatic rules should be enabled only after human review. Backend-dependent capabilities remain configuration-required or planned until their respective release gates pass.
